Keeping Cool When Behaviours Challenge provides adult family members with the skills to identify, understand, and regulate their emotions so they can better manage family challenges, including young people’s behaviour.

Increasing the Positive guides families to increase prosocial and functional behaviour in young people using positive strategies including relationship building, descriptive praise, positive attention, and rewards.

Supervising Adolescents equips families with strategies they can use to stay aware of what’s happening in a young person’s day-to-day life, help them work through challenges, and protect them from danger, whilst providing the young person age-appropriate supervision.

Clear Expectations and Limits guides families to communicate expectations and limits to young people about their behaviour.

Natural and Logical Consequences are events or actions that occur as a result of a young person’s behaviour that can make the behaviour more or less likely to happen again in the future. This practice supports family members to use natural and logical consequences to encourage more positive behaviour from young people.
