Coaching is the practice of providing feedback to family members learning new skills. This practice element is also focused on building family members’ ability to self-evaluate so the skills they’ve learnt can be maintained long-term.

Monitoring Progress

Monitoring Progress

Monitoring Progress is the practice of helping family members monitor their progress once a family member has learnt a new skill. This involves supporting a family member to understand what to monitor, how to monitor it, how to anticipate and respond to setbacks along the way, and the importance of celebrating improvements as they build their proficiency.
